Stealth Developer

My name is Francesco Maggio, and I am a software developer specializing in web development, Android development, and desktop applications from Italy.

I spend most of my time working with HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, web design, Android, Java, Visual Basic, and other open-source software projects related to web and Android application development.

I am a self-taught programmer. I started becoming interested in source code in 2016. I began using and learning computers in 2005, and while using them I often wondered how they actually worked.

Now I finally understand: a computer is not an intelligent machine that helps stupid people; rather, it is a stupid machine that only works in the hands of intelligent people.

We need to change our traditional approach to building programs. Instead of thinking that our main job is to instruct a computer on what to do, we should focus on clearly explaining to humans what we want the computer to do.

The path to hacking is long, tormented, made up of many tests and curiosities, of errors, of sleepless nights spent typing code and inevitably leading you to fail!

The hardest part in the life of a programmer is when you hunt down a bug for a week, find the code that generates the bug, offend the author of the code, and finally realize that you are the author of the cursed code!

I'm a freelance creative developer based in Italy and I mainly work with Android applications.

I like to keep an air of mystery about me. If I listen I know, if I see I understand, if I do I learn.
